The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) notifies the general public of the following traffic arrangements to facilitate the funeral service of the late Jim Charles at the Beaulieu RC Church on Tuesday, 19 August 2025.
These arrangements will be in effect from 11 am to 6 pm.
One way
- La Mode Public Road will operate one way in the direction of Mt Gay
- Beaulieu Public Road will operate one way in the direction of Snug Corner
No entry
- Vehicles travelling towards the direction of St George from Grand Etang will not be allowed to enter onto Beaulieu Public Road. Drivers will make a left turn onto Boca Public Road, then a left turn onto Melrose Public Road and exit on La Mode Public Road
- Vehicles travelling from New Hampshire and surrounding areas will make a left turn at Snug Corner junction, a right turn onto Melrose Public Road and exit onto La Mode Public Road
- Vehicles travelling towards the direction of Snug Corner from St George will not be allowed to enter La Mode Public Road
No parking
- Both sides of the entire Beaulieu Public Road, except for buses participating in the motorcade, which may park on the left side facing Snug Corner
- Both sides of the Vendome Public Road
Signs
- No Entry signs and directional arrows will be placed at Vendome, Boca Junction and Snug Corner junction
