Grenada’s Investment Migration programme has directly contributed over US$1.6 billion to Government’s revenues during the past 12 years of its operations, which has significantly impacted growth within the Grenadian economy.
The inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for numerous Grenadians.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join the expanding team of the Investment Migration Agency (IMA), Grenada, as an Accounts Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- The integrity of the financial reporting of the IMA
- Internal controls and compliance related to the provision of accurate financial information regarding the results of the agency’s operations
- Ensuring the agency fulfils all the financial obligations set out in the guidelines and list of expectations for the Citizenship by Investment Committee
- Providing financial advice and support to the CEO, Committee and management, to facilitate sound business decisions and assure financial stability
- Preparation of final accounts
- Confidentiality of information to protect the agency’s value
The successful candidate should possess, at minimum:
- A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a recognised accounting designation
- Full certification in ACCA
- At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial accounting position
- Competence and experience in using a range of software including MS Office Suite and QuickBooks
- Experience in the interpretation of financial information, financial budgeting and forecasting
- Knowledge of AML/CTF guidelines would be an asset
