Prime Minister Honourable Dickon Mitchell is scheduled to participate in the 31st Afreximbank Annual Meetings (AAM2024) and the 3rd AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF2024), which convenes in Nassau, Bahamas, from 12–15 June 2024.
The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) facilitates the diversification and development of African trade, supporting a wide range of clients who operate in the trade ecosystem.
The 3rd edition of the AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF2024) will explore the platform of Global Africa, aimed at navigating new avenues for the Caribbean through African and global investments from across the diaspora.
Discussions during the event will highlight and focus on the theme “Owning Our Destiny: Economic Prosperity on the Platform of Global Africa.” This momentous event takes place for the first time in the Caribbean and will bring together several African and Caribbean leaders, government officials, corporate business leaders, and policymakers.
The Prime Minister and his delegation, which includes Hon. Joseph Andall, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Export Development, will depart for Nassau today, Tuesday, 11 June and are expected to return on Thursday, 13 June.
The Honourable Andy Williams, Minister for Mobilisation, Implementation, and Transformation will serve as Prime Minister, while the Honourable Dickon Mitchell is out of state.
