It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic death of one of our valued employees, Richard Fisher, due to an accident which took place on Tuesday, 8 April at the Molinere Road Rehabilitation Project, northeast St George.
“Fisher” as he was affectionately called was not just a colleague but a cherished member of our Gravel Concrete & Emulsion Production Corporation (GCEPC) family, known for his dedication and jovial spirit. We are deeply saddened by this unexpected loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Out of respect for Fisher and to allow our team to grieve and support one another, we have decided to close our offices to the general public on Tuesday, 9 April 2024. We understand the impact this may have on our customers, and we appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate through this difficult period.
During this time of mourning, our focus is on providing support to Fisher’s family and our employees who are deeply affected by this loss. We will be offering grief counselling and support services to our team members to assist them with coping.
Any inquiries regarding the GCEPC’s operations or the closure of our office can be directed to 440-3686.
The Board of Directors, Management and Staff extend our deepest condolences to Richard Fisher’s family, friends, and colleagues. He will be dearly missed, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
