Photo Shop Manager
- The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day management and operation of a high-end photography department on resort
- Responsibility for meeting and exceeding all assigned revenue and guest service goals and providing one-of-a-kind products and services that exceeds guest expectations
- Responsible for managing and maintaining all department technical systems and hardware to ensure no down-time or service interruption
Applicants should satisfy the following:
- Must be sales driven
- Must demonstrate excellent sales and marketing techniques when interacting with guests
- Must be able to instruct and develop new practices related to photography
- Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Must be a team player with the ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive Management experience. Photography operations is an asset but not required
- Extensive experience and working with guests and staff of multiple nationalities
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team of ten on property staff
- Strong management, reporting and analytical skills
- Extensive experience with all technical systems and equipment related to a high-end photography operation
- Ideal candidate should have experience and in-depth knowledge of proprietary digital delivery photo systems and related software and hardware
- Ability to troubleshoot and manage custom PC systems, networks, servers and associated software and apps
- Hands-on experience in resort photography and have a demonstrated knowledge of photographic equipment and techniques
