The Ministry of Health hereby advises persons travelling to countries where the Yellow Fever Virus is present, or have active transmission, that in order for the prescribed vaccine to be effective, it MUST be taken at least 10 days prior to entering that country (10 days before travel).
Vaccination is only required once, and provides lifetime immunity against the yellow fever virus. Please be guided accordingly.
