On behalf of the Grenada Cricket Association (GCA), I extend congratulations to Devon Smith on scoring his 24th first class century and for gaining selection on the West Indies Test Team for the tour of South Africa.
Devon has performed consistently well at the first class level over the last few years and has kept knocking on the door of the regional selectors. His record speaks for itself. It only shows what can be achieved with hard work and perseverance. We are extremely heartened that he has been given this opportunity to revive his international career.
We are confident that Devon will be able to continue his rich vein of form and transfer his success at the regional level onto the International stage.
