In 2019, International HR Day was launched by the European Association of People Management (EAPM). The purpose was, and still is, to recognise and celebrate the contributions of HR professionals worldwide.
In 2023, J’S HR Consultancy discovered this celebration and embraced it as an opportunity to raise awareness of the valuable role played by HR/People Professionals in Grenada.
Consequently, in 2024 and 2025, virtual sessions were hosted by J’s, which helped create a stir around the idea of recognising and appreciating the contributions of HR/People Professionals across various institutions in Grenada. 30–40 professionals showed up each year, and through their feedback have expressed a desire for more.
We’ll host another online event with support from our growing HR community, on 20 May via Zoom from 10 am to 12 noon. Attendees can expect inspirational messages from outstanding business leaders in our community. Special greetings will be received from the President of the Human Resource Management Association of Guyana and the President of the Association of HRM Professionals of St Lucia.
