This Christmas season, Nexa Credit Union brought its “Happier Holiday Christmas Loan Promotion” to life by going beyond financial solutions to spread joy, gratitude and community support in true Credit Union spirit.

Rooted in the philosophy of people helping people, Nexa’s annual Christmas promotion is designed not only to make the holidays a little easier for members but also to give back in meaningful ways to the wider community we serve.

As part of this year’s promotion, Nexa introduced a special school-focused initiative, awarding EC$5,000 to one lucky participating school to support improvements to its learning environment. Ten schools participated, rallying their communities through engaging social media videos and daily online polls held from 1–19 December.

The top 3 schools were:

  • Corinth Government School
  • Bishop’s College
  • St Martin de Porres Catholic School

After an enthusiastic and closely contested voting period, Corinth Government School emerged victorious with 613 votes, followed by Bishop’s College with 563 votes and St Martin de Porres Catholic School with 344 votes. Nexa proudly congratulates Corinth Government School as the recipient of the EC$5,000 Christmas donation.

In addition to supporting schools, Nexa ensured that members were at the heart of the celebration throughout the promotional period.

  • One lucky member at each of Nexa’s 5 branches was rewarded after performing in-branch transactions during the promotion
  • Three lucky social media followers won exciting prizes through Nexa’s Mystery Gift Wrap campaign, adding an element of fun and festive surprise online
  • One successful loan applicant was crowned the grand prize winner, receiving a day pass for 3 at Sandals, making their holiday season even more memorable

“These initiatives reflect what Nexa Credit Union stands for,” said Randy Frank, Deputy General Manager of Nexa Credit Union. “At Christmas especially, we are reminded that our role goes beyond finance; it’s about uplifting our members, supporting our communities, and sharing in the joy of the season.”

Nexa Credit Union extends sincere thanks to all participating schools, members, supporters, and followers who helped make this year’s Happier Holiday Christmas Loan Promotion a success. Together, we truly made this a season of generosity, connection, and cheer. As we celebrate this season, Nexa Credit Union wishes you and your family joy, peace and blessings. May the New Year bring continued success, good health and many moments that truly matter.
