The Ministry of Finance advises that the Customs and Excise Department will cease operations at 12:00 noon on Thursday, 23 November 2023.
This decision has been made to allow staff to attend the funeral service and pay their respects to departed colleague, Supervisor of Customs Evelyn Barry.
This closure will affect customs operations at Customs House, Port of St George’s, outstation warehouses and offices including private warehouses where Officers are stationed, especially goods clearance and related services. The arrival and departure of conveyances will not be affected.
Services will resume promptly at 8 am on Friday, 24 November 2023.
