The Pure Grenada Music Festival hosted British musical sensation Estelle, for a casual “Q&A”, speaking about her challenging beginnings, inspirations, aspirations, career to date, and offered some advice to budding talented local artistes.
One Grenadian artiste, Jasmine Murray, nicknamed “backpack girl” after becoming an online viral video sensation, introduced Estelle to one of her original soca compositions.
Estelle was of the performers in the star lineup at the “Voices of the World” opening night of the Pure Grenada Music Festival. The Festival continues every day throughout the week at various venues, including Jasmine with “Spice Rock” at Reggae Night on Friday, 8 April, at the Main Stage at Port Louis.
Pure Grenada Vibz on Sunday, 10 April, is the grand finale of the Festival, with a roster of local talent.
