The Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation wishes to inform the public, residents, and commuters of a temporary road closure at the Caricom Roundabout leading into True Blue on Saturday, 23 May and Sunday, 24 May 2026, from 8 am to 4 pm daily.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of a cross culvert at the junction of Dusty Highway and True Blue Road.
During the closure, motorists travelling toward True Blue are advised to use the following diversion route:
- Proceed to Sugar Mill Roundabout, continue toward the Lance Aux Epines junction, travel onto the Dusty Highway, and continue onward to True Blue
Residents and road users within the affected areas will be accommodated as much as possible throughout the duration of the works.
All motorists are encouraged to proceed with caution, observe directional signage, and comply with instructions from traffic personnel.
The Ministry of Infrastructure apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its cooperation and understanding as these essential infrastructure improvements are carried out.
