The National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) will conduct Exercise Elevate — a national exercise — on 19–21 May 2026.
The exercise will test several emergency response functional areas, which include shelter management, mass casualty management, and emergency operations centre management.
Several entities throughout Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique will participate, including the RGPF, health services, district committees, Red Cross, YEAC, SGU, MBIA, His Majesty’s Prisons and the private sector.
NaDMA advises that on 19, 20, and 21 May, the public will experience elevated emergency response activities throughout the state. Motorists and the public are encouraged to give full support to the emergency services to ensure smooth operations throughout the exercise. The public is advised that NaDMA uses green and white flashing lights on all its vehicles. The NaDMA vehicles are also equipped with sirens and horns for emergency purposes.
For additional information, please contact NaDMA on 440–8391/92 or email [email protected].
