Traffic arrangements: Reggae Fest, National Stadium

The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force notifies the general public of the following parking arrangements to facilitate the hosting of Reggae Fest today, Saturday, 11 April 2026, at the National Stadium.

These traffic arrangements will be in effect from 5:30 pm until the conclusion of the event.

All vehicular traffic entering the Stadium will use the Queen’s Park Ring Road from its intersection with Cherry Hill, St George, as well as the Hump Back Bridge, where it joins with River Road Public Road. However, on conclusion of the event, no vehicular traffic will be allowed to enter the venue.

NB: No vehicular traffic will be allowed to enter the stadium from the Mt Gay or Mt Rush direction.

NO ENTRY

Vehicular traffic will not be allowed to enter the following areas:

  • Old Fort public road from its junction with Lucas Street
  • Cemetery Hill from its junction with Church Street
  • The Ring Road from its junction with Mt Rush Public Road toward the direction of the Humpback Bridge

PARKING

VIP parking:

  • Gate 6
  • Wesley College Ground
  • The concrete area at the front of Kirani James Stadium

Public parking:

  • The area in front of the National Stadium adjacent to River Road
  • Ariza Car Park

NO PARKING

  • Melville Street from the Fish Market to Keep Left
  • From Keep Left to Cherry Hill, inclusive of Queens Park Public Road
  • Cemetery Hill intersection with River Road to Purcell’s Lumber Yard
  • Both sides of the stadium ring
  • Mt Rush public road from its intersection with Stadium Ring Road to the beginning of the hill

ONE WAY

At the conclusion of the events each day, vehicles will only be allowed to travel on the following roads in one direction as stated hereunder:

  • River Road public road towards DeCaul roundabout
  • Mt Rush public road towards Mt Gay
  • Mortley Hill towards Sans Souci

EMERGENCY ROUTE

All emergency vehicles will travel along Cemetery Hill, Church Street, Grand Etang Road on to the General Hospital.
