Traffic arrangements: Dimanche Gras

The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) notifies the general public that the following traffic arrangements will be in effect for Dimanche Gras on Sunday, 10 August 2025.

These arrangements will be in effect from 6 pm until the conclusion of the event.

  • All vehicles entering the National Stadium will use the Queen’s Park Ring Road from its intersection with Cherry Hill
  • No vehicular traffic will be allowed to enter the National Stadium from the Green Bridge entrance

Restricted access: Vehicular traffic via Humpback Bridge will be restricted to VIPs, Dignitaries, and individuals with a special permit issued by SpiceMas Corporation.

No entry: No vehicular access will be allowed in the following areas:

  • Old Fort public road from its junction with Lucas Street
  • Cemetery Hill from its junction with Church Street
  • Hump Back Bridge from its junction with River Road
  • The Ring Road from its junction with Mt Rush public road to the direction of the Hump Back Bridge
  • Top of Mt Rush to the Stadium

No parking: No parking will be permitted on either side of the following roadways:

  • Melville Street from the Fish Market to Cherry Hill
  • Queen’s Park road from its junction with the green bridge to the National Stadium
  • River Road from Purcell’s Lumber Yard to the roundabout close to La Qua Brothers Crematorium
  • Mt Rush public road from its junction with the ring road
  • National Stadium main entrance public way from Green Bridge
  • Stadium ring road

Parking arrangements

  • VIPS/Dignitaries/persons with special permit from SpiceMas Cooperation: The area in front of the National Stadium, adjacent to River Road
  • Individuals with a Special pass from SpiceMas/participants in the competition: Gate 6

Public parking

Designated public parking areas include:

  • Wesley College Grounds
  • The concrete area at the Kirani James Stadium

Emergency route: The Emergency Route from the National Stadium will be Queens Park Public Road onto Cemetery Hill, Old Fort, Lucas Street onto Grand Etang Road to the General Hospital.

Vending

Permitted vending area: Vending will only be allowed on the sea side of the main public way along the western corridor in the area close to the mobile barber shop.

Prohibited vending areas: No vending will be allowed in the following areas:

  • Queen’s Park public road from the Green Bridge to its intersection with the Stadium ring road
  • The entire Stadium ring road and any other area in the vicinity of the National Stadium
