The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is an intergovernmental organisation founded to support and promote a model of economic growth known as “green growth” which targets key aspects of economic performance such as poverty reduction, job creation, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability.

GGGI has a diverse portfolio of programmes in developing countries around the world. These in-country programmes, together with global products and services, focus on delivering results through an integrated approach of evidence-based green growth planning and implementation aligned to countries’ development priorities.

GGGI’s Caribbean portfolio currently includes county programmes in the Dominican Republic and Guyana as well a programme supporting Eastern Caribbean States managed out of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission in St Lucia. All GGGI’s Caribbean programmes provide embedded advisory support to member governments aimed at developing effective policies and strategic plans and mobilising sustainable finance for implementation of priority plans and projects.

In Grenada, GGGI, in partnership with ministries including Housing and Community Development, Climate Resilience and Environment, Economic Development, and other national institutions and development partners, aim to deliver on the country’s vision to address its national housing goals through the provision of resilient, green and affordable housing.
