Xcd5 charge for a trolly is reasonable. Grenada is a developing country and needs every penny it can get. BA, Jet Blue, Virgin etc can fluctuate their fares at will this will not deter travellers. Alternatively GAA should get rid of the trollies d
so that travellers could then have a valid reason t moan. Life is too short to worry about pretty things.
Totally agree JenJen, the $5 USD for trolley is ridiculous. Need to be FREE!
Now get rid of this DEMANDING USD 5$ just to use a trolley to move your bags. Any grown-up INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT the trolleys ARE FREE!!! HOW dare you demand USD when you claim to be an INDEPENDENT COUNTRY 51 years now. The currency of Grenada is EC DOLLARS. Real tired of this USD crap. That is $15 EC to move your luggage.
Jen Jen that is not true. I just flew back from Grenada last month and I paid $9 to rent a cart at Miami international airport. Please speak facts.
Damn I was waiting for comments like this lol.. Because I know damn well the trolley not free out there smh.
You are clearly very misinformed. The price to use a trolley in the Customs area in Grenada is $5 XCD and NOT $5 USD. Many international airports charge for the use of luggage trolleys. The fee at Miami International Airport is $9 USD. In San Francisco, it’s $5 USD. I am always bewildered by people who complain about paying $5 in Grenada, yet they use the facilities in foreign airports, paying whatever fee is charged, and you don’t hear a peep out of them! Grenada is a small developing nation, and the GAA has every right to charge for the use of products and services which they provide to the traveling public.
