The Ministry of Social Development and Gender Affairs informs the public that its office will be temporarily closed for operations today, Tuesday, 19 November 2024, due to flooding induced by the adverse weather conditions.

We regret any inconvenience caused and assure the public that we are working diligently to resume normal operations as soon as conditions permit.

Additionally, beneficiaries are urged to take note of the following:

  • SEED payments scheduled for Wednesday, 20 November 2024, have been postponed to Thursday, 21 November 2024, subject to improved weather conditions
  • Payments for recipients in St George’s will take place on the first floor of the Ministerial Complex, in the area that was previously utilised as a cafeteria. Upon arrival, recipients will be directed by designated staff

We thank the public for its understanding and cooperation as we navigate these challenging circumstances. Please stay tuned for further updates and continue to exercise caution during this period of inclement weather.
