McIntyre Bros. Ltd., a thriving family-oriented business of over 100 years’ service experience, is seeking a suitable professional to join its team as its new Senior Accounts Clerk.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the accountant in ensuring all financial transactions are complete and accurate
- Reconcile monthly bank statements, accounts receivables, and payables
- Provide support in ensuring all requests for payments are accurately processed
- Assist in the timely maintenance of inventory
- Document and maintain information necessary for managing the company’s fixed assets
- Carry-out research to support the department’s detailed analysis
- Assist in ensuring the monthly/annual preparation of NIS Remittances, VAT and Income Tax payments, are done in alignment with the applicable laws
- Provide support in ensuring all necessary preparations are made to facilitate the smooth execution of the annual financial audit
- Create and review invoices as needed
- Assist in the management and payment of bills
- Assist in processing monthly salaries to respective parties
Minimum requirements (Education, Experience and Knowledge):
- BSc in Accounting/Finance and/or ACCA Level I or II or any other equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience in the accounting field including 3 years performing similar duties
- Knowledge of Grenada’s labour laws, its taxation laws and International Accounting Standards
