Europa Hardware Grenada Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancies:
FLOOR ASSOCIATE/ASSISTANT CASHIER
The purpose of this position is to assist customers with the purchasing of replacement parts or the taking in of customer machines to be repaired. Also assisting the service technicians by providing them with machines to be repaired along with the requested spare parts in a timely manner. Calling customers to collect items already serviced or to provide customers with feedback regarding repairs. Accepting and processing various forms of payments for goods and services.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Identifying parts using company’s online catalogue
- Providing customers and technicians with the correct parts based on part number retrieved from online catalogue
- Thoroughly complete customer service report sheets and label machines to be serviced/repaired with the correct customer information
- Allocating machines to technicians based on company guidelines
- Calling customer to update them on the status of their repairs and cost
- Answering incoming calls regarding service repairs or other general information
- Listing all parts that were replaced on customer service report sheet
- Receive and count cash accurately, process payments, and provide customers with the correct change and sales receipt
- Accept card and cheque payments, verify that cheques are filled out correctly, with the correct amount and apply payment
- Balance sales against payments received at the end of day
- Providing excellent customer service to all customers
Education/Qualification/Skills
- 5 CXC/GCE passes including Maths and English
- Must possess strong customer service skills
- Customer-friendly oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Experience cashing using a Point-of-Sale System (POS)
FLOOR ASSOCIATE
The purpose of this position is to provide all our customers with a level of service that goes beyond their expectations. This includes promoting, and selling all products and services offered by the company.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers
- Promote and sell all product lines carried by the company
- Display technical selling skills and comprehensive product knowledge
- Recommend suitable products to customers after consultation
- Replenish empty shelves at the most convenient time during the day
- Ensure that all items on display are properly labelled, with the correct selling price
- Ability to demonstrate electrical and gasoline machines to customers
- Provide relevant information to customers regarding the proper way to use the machine
- Assemble machines for customers and for display
- Cutting and joining chains for chain saws
Education/Qualification/skills
- 5 CXC/GCE passes including maths and English
- Must possess strong customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Customer-friendly oriented
- Strong analytical and computer skills
Must be able to work on Saturdays.
