St George’s University (SGU) is excited to invite you to its first-ever Education Summit on Monday, 22 May, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Hosted by the Master of Education (M Ed.) programme, this groundbreaking event will gather some of the most innovative and inspiring leaders in education to address the future of education in developing states.

The summit will commence with a keynote address by Samantha Antoine-Purcell, a graduate of the Master of Education program and founding collaborator of St George’s Institute. Antoine-Purcell has been instrumental in establishing the only collaborative teaching model on the island.

Esteemed presenters, including Dr Caroline Henry-Packer, Dr Nadia Lopez, and Dr Kris Alexander, will share their expertise on various aspects of education. Additionally, a panel discussion led by Grenadian educational leaders Dr Wendy Grenade, Dr Ron Sookram, and Dr Verna Knight will provide insights into regional education strategies.

The event will also feature a panel discussion with student representatives from 4 secondary schools, TA Marryshow Community College, and youth ambassadors led by Kitaka Mawuto of Elevate Media. Recent graduates of the M Ed. programme will showcase their learnings in a gallery walk, facilitated by M Ed. faculty Dr Lisa Francis-Charles.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to engage with prominent educational leaders and discover the future of education in developing states. Register now for the inaugural Education Summit at St George’s University and participate in this transformative event.
