eZone Grenada Company Ltd celebrated its 15-year anniversary with an elegant affair that toasted many of its original clientele and those who have been with the establishment over the past 10 years.
eZone is in the business of allowing customers to do their shopping online while it takes care of the shipping logistics.
Managing Director Lisa Duncan reminisced about their humble beginnings in a 10 x 12 room in Dusty Highway. Duncan told guests their first shipment contained 3 packages. Now, the company boasts of hundreds of regular clients, with 7 employees and operating out of an office at the Frequente Industrial Park. Duncan was introduced to the eZone Brand by her husband and Business Development Manager of the company, Emmanuel Duncan, when they lived in St Lucia. They appreciated the service so much that in 2007 when they were preparing to return, the Duncans grasped the opportunity to take over and build the brand they had come to love so much, in Grenada.
Although there are others providing similar services, eZone brought many firsts in the area of internet shopping and delivery in Grenada, including the prepaid Visa card, followed by the eZshopper Service which is a “concierge-style” shopping service. Other features are the EZ Rewards, sales tax refunds on US purchases, as well as the eZone app which allows customers to manage and receive live notifications on all their shipments.

eZone’s reliable service has led to it providing logistical solutions for many government ministries and non-governmental organisations. Duncan noted that they have worked with the Ministry of Education and USAID to bring in school books for Early Childhood Learning, as well as with the Office of Diaspora Affairs with regard to Covid relief supplies during the pandemic. eZone has also provided service to the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Health, and NEWLO.
The steadily growing company has been an avid supporter of youth, sports and culture in the country, sponsoring among others, Conception Dance Theatre, which graced the cocktail reception with performances.
eZone Brand owner, Trinbagonian Paul Pantin said working with the Duncans has been easy because they emulate his standards of providing quality service to customers. The eZone Brand is in its 20th year of operations with offices in 24 countries including the Gambia.
In his remarks, Acting Comptroller of Customs Algernon Belfon praised eZone Grenada’s management for its efficiency and always seeking to improve. Grenada’s Department of Customs is emulating eZone’s warehouse structure and layout to improve efficiency.
The cocktail was held on 22 October 2022 at Pier 57 in Grand Mal, St George.
