This event, which is carded to take place from 12 noon to 5 pm, is the final activity in Grenada’s observance of Tourism Awareness Week 2013. It was planned to deliberately coincide with a visit from the cruise ship AIDAluna, which has a capacity for 2,100 passengers.
On that day, visitors and locals will be able to enjoy cultural performances from the GTC Innovation Dancers and be treated to sweet steel pan renditions from Republic Bank Angel Harps, Coyaba New Dimensions and Suzuki Pan Wizards.
A Mini-Trade Show will be put on by the Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association and other industry stakeholders, where cruise ship passengers and other visitors will be provided with information about Grenada’s hotel accommodations, tour sites and other attractions.
Local art, crafts and souvenirs will be on sale.
All are invited to come and enjoy an exciting afternoon dedicated to appreciating Grenada’s tourism industry.
