The Ministry of Legal Affairs, Labour, and Consumer Affairs, expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Robert Robinson.
Robinson served as Labour Commissioner from 1973 to 1982 and later as Labour Consultant from the early 1990s until March 1995. In these roles, he served as Chief Advisor to the Minister for Labour, supporting reforms of the Department of Labour in critical areas such as Occupational Safety and Health and Contract Management.
Beyond his service to the ministry, Robinson played a pivotal role in supporting both employers’ and employees’ organisations. His contributions to labour education and industrial relations extended beyond national borders, influencing policies and best practices at the regional level.
The ministry honours Robert Robinson’s lasting impact on labour administration and industrial relations. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends, and all who mourn his loss.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing.
