FOR TROPICAL NORTH ATLANTIC OCEAN, CARIBBEAN SEA, AND GULF OF MEXICO AREA OF SPECIAL INTEREST: 10–20°N AND 45–65°W
- Tropical wave: A central Atlantic tropical wave has its axis along 57°W, which is about 262 nautical miles east of Grenada, south of 22°N, moving westward around 10 kt. Scattered moderate convection is noted south of 12°N west of 57°W. This wave will bring some showers and possible isolated thunder this afternoon and tonight.
The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor these systems and provide updates in a timely manner.
