The Government of Grenada has learned with deep sorrow of the passing of respected Grenadian journalist Linda Straker.
“Linda Straker was a fearless journalist and a mainstay of the Grenadian media landscape, leaving behind an enduring body of work that reflected her sharp wit, passion for information, and relentless pursuit of truth. Her voice, questions, and passion will be deeply missed.” — Prime Minister Honourable Dickon Mitchell.
She was an avid researcher of both local and regional affairs and was never hesitant to express her views or to ask probing, incisive questions during press briefings and public engagements.
Her contribution to journalism and public discourse in Grenada will be long remembered.
