The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) is aware of yesterday’s near islandwide interruption of internet and telephone services affecting customers of Cable & Wireless.
The commission treats service reliability as a matter of national importance. Telecommunications infrastructure is critical to public safety, economic activity, and daily life, and interruptions of this scale are taken seriously.
The NTRC has formally requested a comprehensive technical incident report from the operator. The commission will review the findings to determine the cause of the outage, assess its impact, and identify any necessary corrective or preventive actions.
The NTRC remains committed to safeguarding the interests of consumers and strengthening the resilience of Grenada’s telecommunications sector.
