CARIB Brewery (Grenada) Limited is proud to announce the successful installation and activation of its 300-kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) system, a major step forward in the company’s sustainability journey and Grenada’s transition to renewable energy.

This initiative will help reduce reliance on grid electricity, improve energy efficiency, and lower greenhouse gas emissions, ultimately supporting Grenada’s national clean energy goals.

As a member of the ANSA McAL Group of Companies, CARIB Brewery is part of a diversified regional conglomerate where Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles are embedded across strategy, operations, and decision-making. This project directly advances the Group’s established sustainability agenda, strengthening responsible environmental stewardship, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation for stakeholders.

The solar PV system is designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and meaningfully lower carbon emissions associated with electricity consumption.

By generating clean, renewable energy on-site, CARIB Brewery strengthens its resilience and contributes to a more sustainable future for Grenada.

As Grenada’s leading beverage manufacturer, CARIB Brewery produces a portfolio of trusted brands including Carib, Stag, Guinness, Caribe, Star Malt, Vita Malt, Juicy Cool, and Ting, serving consumers locally and across the region. Integrating renewable energy into its operations ensures the sustainable production of these brands while reinforcing quality, reliability, and resilience across the business.

This investment reflects the ANSA McAL Group’s broader strategy of embedding sustainability across its operating companies through renewable energy adoption, efficiency improvements, and strong governance practices. The successful commissioning of the solar PV system underscores CARIB Brewery’s role as a responsible corporate citizen and its commitment to supporting the long-term sustainability of the communities it serves. CARIB Brewery (Grenada) Limited remains focused on initiatives that enhance operational resilience, promote environmental sustainability, and deliver long-term value for employees, customers, shareholders, and the wider Grenadian community.
