The Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GCIC) has spotlighted the businesses and entrepreneurs driving Grenada’s economic resilience, innovation, and sustainable growth at its 32nd Annual Business Awards Ceremony, held on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at the Radisson Beach Resort, Grand Anse.
Held under the theme “From Vision to Impact: Growing Sustainably Together,” the ceremony brought together more than 200 leaders from the private sector, government, civil society, and the wider business community to recognise excellence across key sectors of the economy, with a strong emphasis on the role of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in advancing inclusive national development.

Delivering the feature address, Bevil Wooding, the Executive Director of the Caribbean Agency for Justice Solutions, and one of the region’s leading technology innovators, framed the awards within the broader challenge facing small island economies — how to remain competitive globally while delivering lasting social and environmental value locally. “Across every category tonight, we see Grenadian businesses pushing boundaries and redefining what excellence looks like in small island economies,” Wooding said. “These awardees demonstrate that innovation, sustainability, and community impact are not optional extras — they are the foundation of long-term business success.”
In his opening remarks, Collin Francis, President of the GCIC, underscored the strategic intent behind this year’s theme. “Our theme this year captures both an aspiration and a pathway,” Francis noted. “Innovation without sustainability is short-lived. Sustainability without innovation leads to stagnation. Together, they point the way to business growth that creates jobs, protects our environment, and builds long-term prosperity for families across Grenada.”

This year’s awards reflected a clear shift toward businesses that successfully balance commercial performance with skills development, environmental stewardship, innovation, and community impact. From agriculture and tourism to ICT and marine conservation, the awardees represent enterprises responding proactively to both local priorities and global sustainability imperatives.
Petipha Lewis, Executive Director of the GCIC, highlighted the depth and diversity of this year’s awardees. “The quality and range of businesses recognised this year underscore the strength and resilience of Grenada’s private sector, particularly our MSMEs,” Lewis said. “These enterprises are creating opportunities, embracing technology, safeguarding our environment, and strengthening communities. Through the Business Awards, the Chamber reaffirms its commitment to inclusive and sustainable economic development.”

The Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce congratulates all award recipients and extends sincere appreciation to sponsors, partners, nominators, and stakeholders whose support ensured the success of the 32nd Annual Business Awards.
