The Government of Grenada, in partnership with the German Development Corporation (GIZ), is implementing the project Climate-Resilient Water Sector in Grenada (G-CREWS). The project is jointly financed by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) under its International Climate Initiative (IKI) and the Government of Grenada.
One activity under the project is using rainwater harvesting for streamlining climate change resilience in Grenada’s water sector. Evidence of success in mainstreaming would be growth in the uptake of rainwater harvesting and use. As a starting point, the development of mandatory rainwater harvesting legislation is one possible intervention that can facilitate mainstreaming in rainwater harvesting.
We kindly invite you to engage in one of the following consultation sessions on the draft rainwater harvesting regulations. The objective of this consultation is to gather feedback, best practices, and suggestions for improvement or adjustment of the draft, as well as to share the strategy for implementation.
