PUBLIC INVITATION TO TENDER
Public Invitation to Tender (PIT)
- This PIT relates to the procurement of goods, specifically Shade Houses. The Government of Grenada has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, toward the cost of the Climate Resilient Water Sector in Grenada (G-CREWS) project
- Part of these funds will be applied to the procurement of Shade Houses under the Challenge Fund for Agriculture (CFA), a subcomponent of G-CREWS. The CFA provides farmers with Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) equipment, irrigation equipment and shade houses, to promote efficient water use within the Agricultural sector
- The Grenada Development Bank (GDB) hereby invites bids from eligible Suppliers for the provision of Shade Houses and Related Services. GDB is conducting this procurement on behalf of beneficiary farmers approved under the CFA. The tender is open to all qualified and eligible Bidders. Requests for the official Bidding Documents should be submitted via email to [email protected]
- Bids must be submitted electronically, in English, to [email protected] no later than 3 pm on Friday, 3 October 2025. The subject line of the submission must state: ‘Bid for the Supply of Shade Houses — G-CREWS Project’
- Bids will be opened via the virtual platform immediately following the deadline for the submission of bids
- Bids will be evaluated to ensure compliance with the Technical Specifications and Delivery Schedules and any other requirements of the PIT. Only Suppliers who fully comply with the Technical Specifications and Delivery Schedules as specified will be considered in the financial evaluation
