On behalf of the Senate and the House of Representatives in Grenada, we extend deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of former Senator Neilon Franklyn, whose untimely passing has left us all profoundly saddened.
Franklyn served his country with dedication and distinction during his tenure in the Senate, contributing thoughtfully to the legislative process and working tirelessly to advance the interests of the people of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. His commitment to public service and his willingness to engage on matters of national importance, especially in budget debates, earned him the respect and admiration of his peers.
In this difficult moment, we pause to honour his life, his service, and the example he set as a citizen devoted to the betterment of his community and his country.
On behalf of the Parliament, we offer heartfelt sympathy to Sen. Franklyn’s family and loved ones. May you find strength and comfort in the outpouring of support from all who knew him and were touched by his dedicated service in the Senate and elsewhere.
We mourn his passing deeply. Yet, we celebrate the contributions he made to our nation and the values he embodied in his impactful service during his short but meaningful life.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Honourable Leo Cato, Speaker of The House of Representatives
