PUBLIC INVITATION TO TENDER

Public Invitation to Tender (PIT)

1. This PIT is for the procurement of goods, namely, Small Shade Houses
2. The Government of Grenada has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, toward the cost of the Climate Resilient Water Sector in Grenada (G-CREWS) project. The Government of Grenada intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of Small Shade Houses under the Challenge Fund for Agriculture (CFA). The CFA is a subcomponent of the G-CREWS project and supports farmers with Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) equipment, irrigation equipment and shade houses, to promote efficient water use within the Agricultural sector
3. The Grenada Development Bank (GDB) now invites bids from suppliers for the goods and related services. The GDB is procuring these Shade Houses on behalf of beneficiary farmers approved for funding under the G-CREWS project. This procurement is open to all eligible bidders
4. A request for the bidding document can be sent to [email protected] and copied to [email protected]
5. Bids must be submitted electronically in English to [email protected] by 3 pm on Friday, 20 June 2025. Subject “Bid for the Supply of Small Shade Houses — G-CREWS Project.”
6. Bids will be opened via the virtual platform immediately following the deadline for submission
7. Bids will be evaluated to ensure compliance with the Technical Specifications and Delivery Schedules and any other requirements of the PIT. Only suppliers who fully comply with the Technical Specifications and Delivery Schedules as specified will be considered in the financial evaluation
