The Grenada Investment Development Corporation (GIDC) proudly celebrates 4 decades of excellence, innovation, and impact.
Under the theme “40 Years of Excellence,” the GIDC marked this milestone with a series of commemorative events designed to honour its history, recognise its dedicated staff, and reinforce its commitment to economic development.
The celebration commenced with a special church service at Gateway Assembly, where members of the corporation gathered to give thanks for past achievements and seek blessings for future endeavours.
On 1 March, GIDC’s official anniversary date, a Gala and Staff Awards Ceremony was held at Pier 57. This prestigious event honoured both past and present employees for their dedication, leadership, and innovative contributions to the corporation’s continued success. Notable awards, such as the Legacy Award and Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award, were presented to outstanding team members. CEO Ronald Theodore delivered a compelling presentation, reflecting on GIDC’s journey from its inception to its current standing as a key driver of economic growth in Grenada.
Continuing the celebratory activities, on 3 March, GIDC staff joined the CEO in a symbolic tree-planting ceremony at the Frequente Industrial Park. This initiative underscored the corporation’s dedication to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and long-term growth.
The 40th-anniversary celebrations will continue throughout 2025 with a series of activities aimed at further engaging stakeholders, promoting economic development, and reinforcing GIDC’s pivotal role in Grenada’s entrepreneurship and investment landscape.
