The Grenada Customs and Excise Division reminds all importers that the ban on the importation of vehicles aged 10 years and over, which took effect on 1 July 2020, remains in force.
Therefore, Customs cannot release vehicles that do not comply.
To ensure compliance, imported vehicles must have a manufactured date that is less than 10 years old at the time of landing in Grenada. Importers are strongly advised to verify the vehicle’s manufactured date before purchasing and account for shipping times to avoid any inconvenience.
For further information or clarification, please contact the Customs and Excise Division at (473) 440-2239/2240/3588.
