We are seeking a suitably qualified professional to fill the role of CDE Technician.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The CDE Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing all company cold drinks equipment, including post-mix dispensers and coolers. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Installing and removing equipment at customer locations
- Completing and submitting job sheets for post-mix and cooler maintenance
- Responding promptly to customer service requests
- Managing spare parts inventory and requisition as needed
- Advising customers on the proper use of cold drinks equipment
- Performing corrective and preventive maintenance, including sanitation of post-mix equipment
- Performing corrective and preventive maintenance on coolers to ensure optimal performance
- Ensuring compliance with Quality, Food Safety, Health and Safety, and Environmental regulations
- Carrying out duties as specified in the Company’s Management System documents
- Maintaining compliance with Coca-Cola and ISO requirements for all relevant systems and programmes
- Other job-related duties/functions may be assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- A valid D class driver’s licence
- Operational understanding of ISO Standards and application of a management system to achieve business results
