This year marks a significant milestone for the Leo Club of St Andrew as it celebrates its 32nd anniversary under the theme “32 Years of Passion, Progress and Purpose.”
The Leo Club of St Andrew (LCSA) is a proud non-profit, non-governmental voluntary service organisation affiliated with Lions Club International. Since its inception in 1993, the Leo Club of St Andrew has made significant strides in improving the lives of those it serves within our community and beyond. For the past 3 decades, we have encouraged youth leadership through dedicated service activities. Our motto, “We serve,” reflects our commitment to making a positive difference in our community through various initiatives targeting causes like vision, hunger, childhood cancer, environment, and diabetes. Each initiative launched and each partnership formed has been a step toward realising its mission and vision.

Some annual activities that we do to support our global causes are:
- Environment: With a focus on sustainability the Leo Club partners with Circular Seas and Cocoa Cola for Beach Clean-up campaigns
- Vision: The Leo Club assisted the Sandals Foundation and iCare at the Eye Clinic at Grenville Secondary School
- STI Awareness: Every year for Carnival, we embark on an STI Awareness Project to raise awareness by distributing pamphlets and condoms at our Soca Monarch Semi-Finals and other Spicemas carnival activities
- Breast Cancer: One of our notable and most significant projects is the annual breast cancer walk in collaboration with the St Andrew’s Development Organisation
To commemorate this milestone of 32 years, the Leo Club of St Andrew has planned a week of events from Sunday, 19 January 2025, to Saturday, 25 January 2025.
We kick off with our church service, followed by an Induction Ceremony where 8 new Leo members will be inducted into the club. We will have a Media Day, a leadership seminar, an online symposium with counselling psychologist Josh Hector that will be streamed live via our Facebook platform, and as a service project make a donation to the Children’s Ward at the Princess Alice Hospital. Finally, to close off the week, we will be having a BBQ Fundraiser at the Grenville Car Park. These events are an opportunity to honour the past, engage with the present, and inspire the future to many more years of “Passion, Purpose, and Progress.” We are honoured to have made a difference and are committed to continuing our work in the years to come.
As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we extend heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported us over the years and invite new stakeholders or interested members to reach out. This anniversary is not just a celebration of years past but a call to action for continued collaboration and dedication to creating a brighter future. Here’s to the achievements of today and the promises of tomorrow. Happy 32nd Anniversary, Leo Club of St Andrew!
