Spicemas Corporation (SMC), known for organising Grenada’s world-renowned summer carnival, and the Rotary Club of Grenada’s Christmas at the Point have partnered to deliver an unforgettable holiday celebration at Quarantine Point Recreational Park on Saturday, 21 December.
The collaboration combines music, family fun, festive activities, and community giving, bringing together the true spirit of the season.
A Full Day of Festive Fun.
This special day will feature a blend of activities for the entire family:
- Santa’s Grotto Experience: Courtesy of Spicemas Corporation, Santa will spread joy with gifts for 200 children and create magical photo opportunities for families to cherish
- Community Gift Drive: Patrons are encouraged to bring gifts for Carriacou and Petite Martinique’s Hurricane Beryl Relief, placing them in the ShelterBox tent onsite. Santa himself will add gifts to the bins, inspiring everyone to contribute to this vital cause
- Vibrant Live Music on Stage: Guests will enjoy performances by not just the Angel Harps Steel Orchestra, but also the dynamic Pan Wizards Steel Orchestra, who will light up the evening with their signature steelpan sounds
- Movies on the Big Screen: Relax with festive films on the big screen under the stars, creating family memories to last a lifetime.
- Delicious Food and Drinks: Savour a Rum & Vodka Special Rate while indulging in speciality dishes like authentic Vietnamese cuisine by Pho Quan, bringing a unique and tasty addition to the food fair
- Creative Family Activities: Get hands-on with Ornament Painting, where children and adults can create beautiful keepsakes, and enjoy S’mores Night in the Grotto — a cosy, festive treat for all
A Commitment to Community Giving
This collaboration reflects Spicemas Corporation’s growing commitment to being a community stakeholder beyond carnival season. The Rotary Club of Grenada, through Christmas at the Point, is thrilled to align this initiative with its mission to support economic and community development.
“We are proud to expand our role in the community with Rotary this Christmas,” said Cecil Noel, Chief Executive Officer, Spicemas Corporation. “With live entertainment, Santa’s Grotto, and a focus on giving back to Carriacou and Petite Martinique, we are showing how culture and compassion can come together to make a difference.”
Rotary also highlights the importance of the day’s focus. “Saturday, December 21, is a day of joy and generosity,” said Richard Strachan, Past President of the Rotary Club of Grenada and Chairman for the event. “We invite families to enjoy the magic of the season with music, food, and fun, while also contributing to our Hurricane Beryl Relief by bringing gifts to the ShelterBox tent. Together, we can spread hope where it’s needed most.”
Don’t Miss Out.
Families are invited to bring their loved ones for an entire day of entertainment, food, and giving. The partnership between Spicemas Corporation and Christmas at the Point promises a festive celebration that blends the excitement of the holidays with the spirit of community.
