Prime Minister Honourable Dickon Mitchel is set to participate in the 16th edition of the MEDays Forum in Tangier, Morocco, scheduled for 27–30 November.
This year’s theme, “Sovereignties and Resiliences: Towards a New Global Balance,” will highlight countries’ interconnected challenges while preserving their sovereignty and independence. The Forum aims at stimulating constructive dialogue on how to achieve a new global balance, where multipolarity is seen as an opportunity for a more equitable and inclusive collaboration between nations.
Focus will also be placed on the challenges and opportunities facing Africa and the countries of the Global South.
While attending the forum, the Prime Minister will have several bilateral meetings with officials from the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco with a view to concluding discussions on the Roadmap for Cooperation between Grenada and the Kingdom of Morocco.
Honourable Andy Williams, Minister for Mobilisation Implementation and Transformation, will act as Prime Minister until Honourable Dickon Mitchell’s return to the state on Sunday, 1 December.
