Darshan Ramdhani, former Attorney General of Grenada, was recently appointed to serve for 1 week as a Justice of Appeal for the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (ECSC).
“The appointment of Mr Darshan Ramdhani, to act as Justice of Appeal, Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for the Court of Appeal Sittings in the Territory of the Virgin Islands during the period 26th October to 1st November 2024,” said a notice on the court’s website.
Ramdhani was among 4 appointed by The Judicial and Legal Services Commission to serve on the Virgin Islands Court of Appeals sittings from 26 October to 1 November.
The others were Her Ladyship the Hon. Justice Petra Byer to act as Justice of Appeal; Her Ladyship the Hon. Justice Georgis Taylor–Alexander; Her Ladyship the Hon. Justice Kimberly Cenac-Phulgence, and Her Ladyship the Hon. Justice Gertel Thom, High Court.
