An industry leader in financial services technology, Republic Bank is excited to announce the launch of a new state-of-the-art ATM at Braveboy’s Gas Station and Convenience Store, located at Corinth, St David.

Our new ATM features cutting-edge technology that allows for a seamless and user-friendly banking experience, including enhanced security and a variety of services, like cash withdrawals, account balance inquiries, and transfers between your own accounts. Customers will also enjoy the convenience of cardless cash transactions, which enable them to access cash without the use of a card.

Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for St David Honourable Dickon Mitchell attended the ceremony and performed the symbolic cutting of the ribbon to officially commission the ATM. Olympic Bronze Medallist and Republic Bank Brand Ambassador Anderson Peters conducted the first transaction.

In his remarks, Prime Minister Mitchell commended the bank for the timely investment.  He commented: I am truly happy that we now have an ATM that will function and serve the residents of St David.” He said: “It is truly a central location; and, it allows persons not only from St David, but anyone traversing the eastern main road between St George’s and St Patrick, accessibility and convenience.” Prime Minister Mitchell further encouraged customers and citizens to make full use of the ATM, which offers added advantages like reduced gas bills and less frustration caused by traffic build-up and congestion.

Addressing the mixed audience of customers and business owners, Mavis Burnie, General Manager Operations at Republic Bank stated: “This location was chosen after careful consideration because we recognised the huge gap in the availability of banking services along the Eastern Main Road. Moreover, it is intended to serve the many small business operators, nearby schools, churches, and tourist attraction sites. Our investment here in St David signifies our commitment to ensuring that we afford all our customers throughout Grenada, ready access to cash and other basic banking services.”

Joseph “Singh” Ragbersingh, a resident and small business owner thanked the bank for the initiative. He stated: “As a long-time customer myself, I can confidently say that this ATM is a significant step that will benefit all of us in the community. Having a reliable and accessible ATM means a lot, especially in St David, with so many small businesses like my own around.”

Republic Bank was the first to introduce ATM service to Grenada in 1993, in Grand Anse, St George. The launch of this new ATM aligns with our ongoing mission to enhance financial accessibility and empower our customers with convenient banking solutions.
