The Ministry of Education is pleased to announce the start of the issuing of QR Codes to support Carriacou and Petite Martinique parents in accessing school supplies and uniforms under the School Supplies and Uniform Assistance Programme.

The QR Code is a digital solution used to facilitate cashless transactions. All parents with a child or children in pre-primary, primary and/or secondary schools are eligible to benefit from the Programme. Parents can now check their phones for the monetary value via QR Codes, which are sent out in batches via text messages from the contact number 1 (878) 231-3486 or email [email protected]. Once the QR Code is received, parents should proceed to a vendor authorised by the Ministry of Education to obtain school uniform/s and school supplies. The QR Codes are valid until 31 October 2024.

The School Supplies and Uniform Assistance Programme is an initiative of the Government of Grenada, which provides essential school items to support parents and students.
