The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry, Marine Resources, and Cooperatives notifies the public that the hunting season will open on 1 October and run until 31 December 2024.
The following animals are permissible targets for hunting during the open period:
- Manicou
- Tatou
- Monkey
- Iguana
- Ramier (Scaly-naped Pigeon)
The Forestry Department encourages all hunters to comply with all regulations and guidelines to preserve sustainable hunting practices that safeguard our animal resources.
