The Governor-General, Her Excellency Dame Cécile La Grenade GCMG, OBE, PhD, left the state on Monday, 19 August 2024, to attend to personal business.
The Governor-General is scheduled to return on 29 August 2024.
Former Prime Minister Tillman Thomas has been appointed Deputy to the Governor-General in the absence of Her Excellency Dame Cécile La Grenade.
