Cardinal Advisory Services is seeking a career-oriented individual to join their team as an Administrative/Accounting Assistant.
The successful candidate’s duties will include:
- Welcoming and assisting individuals/clients visiting the Office.
- Managing incoming calls and appointments; preparing agendas and arranging meetings.
- Creating client packages and items for delivery.
- Onboarding new employees when assigned.
- Processing, verifying, recording, and maintaining personnel-related documentation.
- Preparing, proofreading and editing reports, letters, memos, invoices, presentations and other documents.
- Preparing cheques, paying bills, statutory payments and remittances for the Firm.
- Entering transactions into QuickBooks ensuring all necessary documents are scanned and uploaded.
- Preparing deposit slips and making bank lodgements as and when required.
- Reconciling bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
- Preparing and submitting monthly management reports.
- Compiling financial statements on an annual basis.
- Maintaining a physical and digital record of all firm-related financial transactions, documents, and suppliers’ information.
- Filing tax returns on behalf of clients; liaising with Inland Revenue Dept to resolve related issues.
- Assisting Principal Accountant with other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements (Education, Knowledge & Experience):
- An Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management. C.A.T. qualification or ACCA Level 1 would be an asset.
- 3–5 years of experience in performing similar administrative and accounting duties. Public accounting experience will be an asset.
- Knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
- Excellent knowledge of office procedures.
