CAREER OPPORTUNITY – ADMINISTRATIVE & HR SUPERVISOR

Grenada’s CBI programme has contributed significantly to the growth of Grenada’s economy and has received international recognition. The inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for numerous Grenadians.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join CBI’s expanding team as its Administrative & HR Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Supervise the day-to-day work of the support staff.
  • Supervise the use of the Unit’s vehicles to ensure efficient usage and that they are licenced, maintained and insured as per schedule.
  • Supervise the procurement of stationery and office supplies ensuring proper maintenance of an inventory system.
  • Supervise the delivery of service excellence to all stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development and update of policies and standard operating procedures in the relevant areas of responsibility.
  • Update and maintain the HR software including:
    • The administration of the day-to-day HR related tasks
    • Processing of employee benefits and claims.
    • Recording of all employee leaves
  • Supervise the Performance Management System.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of all new hires.
  • Assist with the development and updating of HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of documents.
  • Conduct and coordinate training for all employees.

The preferred mix of qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related area, or any equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge and skills.
  • Certification in SHRM or other Human Resource or Supervisory Management programme will be an asset.
  • At least 3 years experience in a supervisory position especially Administrative, Operations and/or Human Resource Management.
