Grenlec Community Partnership Initiative Call for Project Proposals

We are inviting proposals from established community groups, non-profit and other eligible organisations.

The Grenlec Community Partnership Initiative (GCPI) contributes to national development through partnerships with community and stakeholder development initiatives in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

Since 1994, a broad range of our communities and people have been impacted by programmes valued at over $24 million. These initiatives are funded through 5% pre-tax profits.

Priority Areas

Social Services/Community Development: established, sustainable developmental projects; infrastructural and other sustainable programmes to benefit our communities
Science and Technology/ Energy: programmes that promote interest in these areas and projects that encourage innovation and sustainability
Education: broad-based developmental programmes to benefit schools, vulnerable groups and the wider population; programmes that contribute to the development of our nation’s human resource capital
Sport: infrastructural and/or developmental initiatives of umbrella sporting associations and recognised stakeholders
Environment: projects that serve to develop awareness or preserve land and marine habitats for the benefit of the islands’ eco-systems
Arts, Heritage and Culture: national and parish events; developmental programmes

Grenlec I would nominate the parish of St Patrick’s as one of the most in need of your help with opening a store in sauteurs.
This parish is the hub for a large number of communities around it,areas like Redmud,Victoria and even Gouyave comes through sauteurs on they way to Grenville to pay or discuss their accounts.
So please use some of that funds to help develop this parish.
