On 16 March 2023, the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) organised a meet and greet event with tour operators and members of the Barbados press to showcase the many exciting opportunities and experiences awaiting visitors to Grenada.
The event was a huge success, thanks to the presence of key figures in the Grenadian hospitality industry, including Arlene Friday, CEO of the Grenada Hotel and Tourism Association (GHTA).
The event was marked by a delightful chocolate feast curated by Magdalena Fielden, one of the owners of True Blue Beach Resort, and captivating presentations from Renatta Fielden, also from True Blue Bay Resort, and Thania Haywood Stroud from Lance Aux Epines Cottages. Attendees were thoroughly impressed and showed a keen interest in visiting these unique properties.
The presence of Minister of Tourism Hon. Lennox Andrews, GTA Chairman Randall Donald, and GTA CEO Petra Roach added to the grandeur of the event, highlighting the government’s commitment to supporting Grenada’s tourism industry.
