CAREER OPPORTUNITY – DUE DILIGENCE OFFICER I

Grenada’s CBI Programme has contributed significantly to the growth of Grenada’s economy and has received international recognition. The inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for numerous Grenadians.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join CBI’s expanding team in the position of Due Diligence Officer I.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Verifying and submitting due diligence documents to due diligence providers.
  • Analysing and preparing summary reports.
  • Synthesising complex information and using sound judgement.
  • Logging and maintaining statistics.
  • Performing risk mitigation and risk elimination based on due diligence findings.

The preferred mix of qualifications, experience and competencies include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Management or Business Administration or related area, or any equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge and skills
  • Certification in Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, Financial Crime, Fraud Management, or any related area.
  • At least three 3 years experience in an analytical and report writing environment.
  • Proficiency in Banking and Financial Analysis and/or Risk Analysis.
  • Experience in Investment Migration or the Financial & Banking Industry will be an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software.

  • Interacting and following up with the respective due diligence providers.
  • Communicating with local and international agencies concisely, and with tact and diplomacy.

The preferred mix of qualifications, experience and competencies include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Humanities with a focus on Fraud or Financial Analytics, Statistics, IT, or other related field or any equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge and skills.
  • Certification in Open-Source Investigations, Anti-Money Laundering Compliance, Sanctions and Financial Investigations.
  • High competency in the use of Open/Closed-Source software
  • Experience in Investment Migration and due diligence assessment would be an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software.
