Integrity Commission activates investigation protocol

The Integrity Commission has noted recent allegations of corruption pronounced by Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell at a town hall meeting held at the Grenada Trade Centre, on 31 October 2022.

In accordance with the Integrity in Public Life Act No. 24 of 2013 and the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chapter 252A the Integrity Commission has activated its investigation system and protocol.

The Integrity Commission is undertaking the investigation following section 12 (2) (b) which gives the Commission the authority to “make use of the services or draw on the expertise of any law enforcement agency or the Public Service.”

Upon completion of the investigations, the outcome of the findings will be shared and recommendations if any.

    I can’t stress enough of the importance of young maintaining their integrity, ethics and honesty.

    People can gain education, titles and positions. However, without an ounce of integrity they can be easily compromised.

    Some activities may not be criminal but it brings to light integrity, ethics and morality.

    It seems the eat ah food and get rich mentality have taken over.

    Then adults, blame young folks for every manner of society ills.
